A world-class list of players entered Queen’s this year, including 2023 winner and two-time defending Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz and high-flying Jack Draper. The 23-year-old Brit beat Alcaraz at Queen’s last year, marking the Spaniard’s solitary defeat on grass in the past two seasons, but went on to lose to eventual champion Tommy Paul of the USA.
The most recent British player to win the men’s singles title was five-time champion Andy Murray in 2016, while other past victors include Rafael Nadal, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker, John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors.
