Live from Bradford Live

Petroc Trelawny presents a special edition of In Tune from Bradford Live, with music from the Bantam of the Opera Choir, Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra and Hammonds Band.

Petroc Trelawny presents a special edition of In Tune live from the newly restored Bradford Live.

Located in the heart of Bradford City centre, the venue first opened in 1930 and has served as a ballroom, theatre, cinema, and legendary music venue, hosting acts like The Beatles and Tom Jones. After closing in 2000 and standing derelict for nearly two decades, it was saved from demolition by a local campaign. Now, following an ambitious restoration, it鈥檚 set to reopen this year鈥� Bradford鈥檚 year as UK City of Culture.

We catch up with James Sills and the Bantam of the Opera Choir, a unique choir formed by Bradford City AFC fans, who will be joined on stage by Lesley Garrett. Plus we have live music from Ben Crick and the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra and local brass ensemble the Hammonds Band.
