Mark and Stuart present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.
Today they talk to singer, songwriter and frontwoman of Echobelly, Sonya Madan, who shares her ‘First, Last and Everything’ - that’s her first record, the most recent one she's enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to her. Sonya and Echobelly came to prominence in the mid-1990's with singles including 'Great Things' and 'King Of The Kerb' from their 1995 album 'On.' To mark the album's 30th anniversary, the band are heading out on tour and Sonya joins Mark and Stuart to tell them more about it.
Also on the show... long-running feature ‘The Chain’ which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8000 songs.
With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started.
