Mara Simpson is a film composer, multi-instrumentalist, performing artist and songwriter. Her work includes the soundtrack to the TV series SILO and magical-realist film Blue Hour, and collaborations with Hidden Orchestra, Cerys Matthews, Poppy Ackroyd, and Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres.
Her latest album Living Matter came out in May and was written in response to a set of poems by JLM Morton.
