Fionn Regan in session
Irish songwriter Fionn Regan recorded live in session at the Stendhal Festival, 2025.
Bray singer-songwriter Fionn Regan released his masterful debut album “The End of History” in 2006 and was immediately nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Whether it is the intricate acoustic folk of that record or the upbeat electric blues of the follow-up “The Shadow of an Empire” or, indeed, the sun-dappled atmospherics of his 7th, and most recent album, “O Avalanche”, his intuitive songwriting is poetic, cinematic and utterly compelling. Following a magnificent set on the Stevie Martin Stage at Stendhal, he performed two tracks from “O Avalanche” live in session and had a chat with Stephen.
