Throughout the week, we will feature highlights from the 蜜芽传媒 Proms 2025. In today's programme, Walton's dramatic and powerful Symphony No. 1 in B flat minor is performed by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and conductor Mark Wigglesworth plus soloist Nicholas McCarthy joins the orchestra to play Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand.

Elsewhere, performances from the Regensburg Early Music Festival will be featured, thanks to our partnership with the European Broadcasting Union. Plus there is a spotlight on former Radio 3 New Generation Artists across the week with performances from guitarist Sean Shibe and violinist Alina Ibragimova.
