Metal detectorists Sam Moss and Nikki Foster from north Wales are on a quest to uncover the lost Roman fort of Varis, believed to be buried near St Asaph. Sam and Nikki, who are known to their online followers as the Soil Sisters, plan to hold their own detecting event to hunt for Roman activity in the area. But first they must persuade a farmer to give them permission to detect on their land, and enlist an army of fellow detectorists to help them. Will they be able to turn their plan into reality?
