When circumstances force their hand – mates Ken and Bill decide to share a flat.
The pilot episode of 'I'm Ken, He's Bill', which follows the exploits of flatmates Ken and Bill, played by Peter Cleall and Derek Seaton.
Their neighbours upstairs are flatmates Angela and Caroline played by Suzanne Kerchiss and Clare Sutcliffe.
And they all live under the watchful gaze of their landlady, Mrs Platt, played by Patricia Hayes.
Two series ran on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 2 between 1972 and 1975. This is the pilot episode that was part of Comedy Parade - a showcase for new comedy.
