Steve welcomes his new favourite band Mên An Tol to the ѿý's Maida Vale studios for a live session. Named after an ancient Cornish stone formation, the band formed in a South London pub and released their debut single NW1 last year. We spoke to them earlier this year at Great Escape Festival. Their influences stem from frontman Bill Jefferson’s own musical education in his native Cornwall where he’d play folk sessions in and around the local pubs.

About their songwriting approach Bill says “Lyrically I just write what I see, or from my experiences or other people's. If it’s not something I can relate to, how can anyone else? The only rule for me is that it comes from truth and real life.”

They play for Steve in support of their new single Not Ideal.

Plus, there is brand new music from Suede, Snooper and Opus Kink
