1. Death of a Hooligan
4 Extra Debut. The incongruous crime-busting duo move south to probe the death of a football fan. Stars Stephen Thorne and Joe Dunlop.
The unlikely police duo uncovers the background to a football fan’s death.
Stephen Thorne and Joe Dunlop star as an incongruous crime-busting team, who have transferred from Kirkcaldy to Hampshire. Just like his matinee idol namesake, DI Ronald Coleman [Thorne] is erudite, well-spoken, and would far prefer to be a film director than a Detective Inspector. His down-to-earth colleague, Detective Sergeant Fred Astor [Dunlop], is a career copper. Despite their differing backgrounds and approach, they make a formidable crime-solving team.
In this series of four, the pair have moved from Kirkcaldy, where they first teamed-up, to Southampton.
