A series of six overheard conversation pieces by Alun Owen's earwigger, a man who likes to listen to other people's conversations.

He always lunches at the same restaurant, and selects the table nearest the diners who will provide him with the best entertainment.

The lady sitting at the table next to Mr Emmanuel comes from Dublin and she is certainly larger than life.
