The Scott Flanigan Trio kick off the second series of Live at Scott鈥檚 Jazz Club with a first for the club; a night of requests! Featuring our host Scott Flanigan on keys, Rohan Armstrong on bass and James Anderson on drums, join us as the band navigate their way through the treacherous waters of audience interaction. You can expect to hear classics from jazz legends such as Ornette Coleman, tunes featured in iconic films like Breakfast at Tiffany鈥檚 and even some rather unexpected classics from the world of television. Since this is a requests night, it鈥檚 only fair that the band explain a little bit about how jazz musicians learn their seemingly infinite catalogue of songs and come to terms with its vast history. For instance, you might find that some very famous tunes have their roots in other less known songs. Scott will explain all as the band reveal some secrets behind the curtain and demonstrate live how they play a spontaneous request in any style the crowd can think of!
