For Rave Forever 90s, we celebrate one of the most iconic DJ compilations of all time — Renaissance: The Mix Collection. Released in 1991, it was the first in a series of mix albums released under the brand of the world renowned Renaissance nightclub in Mansfield. Put together by Sasha in collaboration with fellow Renaissance resident John Digweed, this groundbreaking mix album not only defined an era of progressive house and trance but also set the standard for the modern DJ mix as an art form. We revisit some of the standout tracks featured from artists including Leftfield, Disco Evangelists, Grace, Moby, Jaco and more.
