Fiona Shepherd discusses her new book, and Paul English reports from the Glaswegians exhibition

Len Pennie hears from music journalist Fiona Shepherd about her new book, Glasgow's Greatest Hits, and The Arts Mix reporter Paul English visits the Glasgwegians exhibition.

The Arts Mix reporter Paul English takes a trip to the Glaswegians exhibition at Streetlevel Photoworks in the city’s Trongate, which showcases the work of the Cranhill Arts collective as they reflect on 35 years, including photographs of their fellow citizens and posters they made for the streets chronicling social and cultural change.

Len hears about new book Glasgow’s Greatest Hits, a pocket guide to the people, places and events which have shaped the city’s world-renowned music scene. Covering folk to funk, pop to punk, it celebrates the significant gigs, beloved venues and famous (and infamous) musicians who have stayed, played and made music in the UK’s first UNESCO City of Music. Music journalist and co-founder of Glasgow City Music Tours Fiona Shepherd is one of the authors and she tells us more.
