A dramatic new chapter begins at Longleat. After more than 50 years, hippos are returning to the park, but with hopes of creating a world-class breeding programme, the pressure is on.

The team must race to finish a state-of-the-art hippo house in time while the keepers travel across Europe on a mission to learn everything they can about their precious new arrivals. But bringing together a pod of hippos who’ve never met and mixing them with the park’s sea lions could spell disaster.

Elsewhere, Ben witnesses a rare moment as the Cuban crocodiles show a terrifying pack-hunting display, while on the other side of the park, the keepers hope for peace between the park’s battling hyenas after a savage attack.
