Episode 4
The team fight to save a rare vulture chick, while the painted dogs face the ultimate feeding challenge.
In this episode, conservation is the focus. The team are pinning their hopes on a precious white-backed vulture chick, a species facing extinction in the wild. If they can successfully raise this chick, its survival could help secure the future of these vital scavengers. But with first-time parents and memories of past issues, can the keepers risk returning it to the nest?
Elsewhere, the park’s pack of rare African painted dogs are put to the ultimate test in a feeding challenge designed to encourage their natural teamwork, with spectacular results. Hamza helps carry out a health check on an elusive capybara who refuses to play ball, and there’s joy as a tamarin family show their wild side with a sticky tree sap treat.
Meanwhile, the wolf pack face their own battle. Can the keepers help them lose their winter coats before the summer heat puts them in danger?
