Leominster 29
Two teams of teachers aim to teach each other a lesson as they shop with their experts, Gary Pe and Tim Weeks, in a huge antiques centre in Herefordshire.
In this episode, Caroline Hawley learns about regional furniture making and chats to Christina Trevanion about the subtle differences that can be seen in pieces made in different parts of the UK.
There’s no sitting around in Leominster as two teams of teachers hunt for three bargains to sell at auction over the border in north Wales. On the red team, with expert Tim Weeks, are married couple Laura and Bez. Husband and wife Luke and Becca, assisted by Gary Pe, are in blue. The reds find themselves gazing into a 1950s mirror, but after some reflection, they move on. Meanwhile, Bez spots a cabinet of model trains, but Tim suggests they’re too pricey, so they make tracks.
Trying to get the best price for their items is auctioneer Matthew Tong near Wrexham, but which team will clinch victory?
