Today singer, songwriter and musician Alan Sparhawk (formerly of Low) shares his 鈥楩irst, Last and Everything鈥� tracks and chats about his latest album, 鈥榃ith Trampled by Turtles鈥� and forthcoming dates in the UK.

Low was an American indie rock band from Duluth, Minnesota, formed in 1993 by Alan Sparhawk (guitar and vocals) and Mimi Parker (drums and vocals). The band was a trio from 1993 to 2020, having featured four different bassists. Low disbanded following the passing of Mimi in 2022.

Alan was born in Seattle in 1969 and moved to Duluth as a child. In his youth he played in various bands, including a band called 鈥榋en Identity鈥�.

His latest album, which features fellow Duluth band Trampled by Turtles, came out this May on Sub Pop Records. On it, he plays alongside his daughter, Hollis, and son, Cyrus.
