A Wrexham shopkeeper, who’s lost almost £200 of stock due to shoplifting, has said he will not remove a sign which refers to ‘scum bag shoplifters’.
Rob Davies says he’s had a positive reaction from locals, but was visited by a police officer, after a member of the public claimed the sign was provocative and offensive.
The full signs reads: "Due to scumbags shoplifting, please ask for assistance to open cabinets".
