Tennis Racquet, Metal Teeth Art, Cinema Seats
Nigel comes face to face with a piece of Havers family history, Philip bets on getting a bite on his metal teeth, and local sellers Ben and Jenna are happy to take whatever they can get.
Seller numero uno Will has brought in a memento from Nigel’s past – a tennis racquet used at Wimbledon by his grandfather, Sir Cecil Havers. Will he be tempted to take it home? The ball is in his court...
The second hopeful through the doors is Pru, who has brought the dealers a set of antique scales passed down through the generations. But she’s unsure if she’s ready to part with them, so she’ll have to carefully weigh up any offers.
Local duo Jenna and Ben haven’t had far to come today, as they work at a Leith-based music collective just around the corner. They’re hoping to raise funds by selling off an old set of cinema seats and openly admit it won’t need a big-budget offer to take them off their hands.
Geoff, our fourth seller of the day, is hoping to sweep the dealers off their feet with a little runaround direct from the Riviera. More Cannes than Torquay, his Solex Micron scooter was originally designed for taking on your yacht. As none of the dealers are particularly known for their sea legs, he might struggle to make a splash...
And what could be scarier than going to the dentist? Perhaps seeing Philip’s creepy metal artwork of tiny demons inside a tooth. But there’s a market for everything, and if our dealers see the potential in it, he might yet make a sweet deal.
