King Cedar in session
Bangor singer-songwriter Stephen Macartney - aka King Cedar - recorded live in session.
Alt-folk singer-songwriter Stephen Macartney AKA King Cedar is from Bangor and has grown up with the beautiful, expansive seafront on his doorstep. However, his songs resonate more with the cinematic sound of the dusty, desert roads of the west coast of America and the classic Laurel Canyon songwriters of the late 60s and early 70s. His stunning new EP, “No One More Dead Than The Other” is a songwriting masterclass. He performs each track from the EP in session with an ensemble of incredible collaborators and sits down for a chat with Stephen about astronomy, oil derricks, biscuit resonator guitars and the moments of magic that only music can catalyse.
