Episode 3

Episode 3 of 3

Mark Nelson and his team have more highlights from this year’s festival. It’s the last week of the Fringe, and there are still so many shows that you can’t afford to miss.

Mark Nelson catches up with some of the hottest comedians in town. Award-winning Michelle Wolf and Jena Friedman are both from the United States, and each uses their unique perspective to shine a light on the political landscape in America at the moment.

One of the biggest buzzes at the Fringe this year is about Joe Tracini, whose hopeful and inspiring show about overcoming challenges arising from his mental health is astonishing audiences. Mark finds a quiet spot in the heart of the festival to find out how he has managed to pull off one of the shows of the year.

Lou Featherstone, also known as Luinluland, fulfils a lifelong dream of coming to the festival, and she is doing it in style. Taking time out from her inspirational live show, she parks up her bright pink bus and chats to two of the most influential women at the Fringe, Katy and Karen Koren, about their 40 years at the festival.

There’s loads more cracking one-liner jokes, and plenty of music in this episode, including sea-shanties, ukeleles and a very special performance by Jess Robinson.
