Northern Superchargers beat Manchester Originals twice last year, finishing the season narrowly outside the play-offs. Head coach Andrew Flintoff and captain Harry Brook will be hoping to continue their dominance over their northern rivals in 2025.

England鈥檚 Jos Buttler missed 2024鈥檚 competition through injury, and he returns to the Originals batting line-up alongside his international teammate Phil Salt. The two have been prolific run scorers in The Hundred. Manchester also raised eyebrows in the draft by signing 43-year-old England legend Sir James Anderson as a wildcard pick.
