We're celebrating the best creatives where we live, with Nina Das Gupta, including:

• From fluorescent cats in a park to giant pears behind a shop, massive dragonflies under bridges, and mega murals on churches: We're counting down the days until the Worcester Paint Festival, bringing some of the world's foremost street artists to the faithful city in a display of colour like few others.

• We put the call out and you answered in your thousands: Meeting the first of our two Words First finalists, who wowed the biggest names in the literary world, and will be featured at this year's hugely prestigious ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Contains Strong Language Festival. We start in Wolverhampton with writer Prav Jandu who - without the piece he sent in, and got shortlisted for - would have given it all up!

• Bringing back one of the most beloved children's TV shows ever - we hear from the team from Birmingham preparing Bagpuss for the 21st Century.

• Discover Stokie YouTuber Dean Chapman, who's flying the flag for his corner of the city - and says this show inspired him in to poetry!

• For fans of fast-paced adventure, meet author Robin Wells, who's released what's turned out to be his tenth book. He says he was convinced to publish his own by his grandchildren, who he used to write stories for when they were little!
