She has since referred herself to the ministerial ethics adviser, after days of denials of wrongdoing. Experts have estimated that the unpaid bill could run to as much as an extra £40,000. Should weight loss drugs be for everyone? Their affordability has been called into question, after manufacturer Eli Lilly announced it was putting up the list price of the popular weight loss drug Mounjaro by as much as 170%. This could have meant the cost of the highest dose going up from £122 to £330 per month. Eli Lilly has since offered a discounted deal to UK suppliers. However, it’s likely that the highest dose will still be sold to suppliers for £247.50. Does this price increase impact you?
