Jools presents a look back at one of his favourite artists, Van Morrison. Van made his debut on the show in 1995 with classics like Moondance and his rendition of the Frank Sinatra song That’s Life, both accompanied by 60s star Georgie Fame.
Since then, Van has continued to return to Later... and the Hootenanny, and this show includes performances from 1999, 2005 and more recently in 2017 for Later... 25 at the Royal Albert Hall, a celebration of 25 years of the show, where he is joined by British rock, blues and soul singer Chris Farlowe.
Also, the King of Skiffle, Lonnie Donegan, and the cast of the 1999 Hootenanny join Van for a knees-up and a sing-a-long to Lead Belly’s Midnight Special.
