This monument of offshore sailing celebrates its centenary this year, with a fleet of close to 500 yachts taking to the start at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Named after the Fastnet Rock off the southern tip of Ireland, which serves as the race's iconic rounding point, this biennial 695 nautical mile race is a rite of passage for any sailors. The film embeds specialist camera operators onboard two of the racing yachts to provide insight and showcase the intense action from one of the greatest spectacles in world sport.
