Jason Mohammad takes your calls on censoring art, band merchandise and Bagpuss.

Should we be censoring art in 2025? Should bands sell merchandise? And what childhood characters would you love to see on the big screen?

A new mural by street artist Banksy – which has appeared on the Royal Courts of Justice building in London – has been covered up. It depicts a judge in a traditional wig and black robe hitting a protester lying on the ground. So should we be censoring art in 2025 – or should Banksy’s art be considered criminal damage?

Merchandise is the height of vulgarity, and bands should not be selling t-shirts. That’s according to Del Amitri lead singer Justin Currie. Speaking with Huw Stephens on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Wales, Currie said that merch is just filling up the world with more junk. Do you agree with him, or do you love to buy a band t-shirt?

And Bagpuss is to star in a new film. The saggy, old cloth cat first found fame on children’s tv in 1974. Bagpuss and his companions will now 'stir from their slumber to find themselves in contemporary Britain'. And hot on the heels of Paddington Bear’s big screen success, are there any other nostalgic childhood characters which you’d love to see on the big screen?
