Academy Award-winning composer Rachel Portman joins Jess to share some of her favourite music, on the same day her new work ‘The Gathering Tree’ receives its world premiere at the ѿý Proms. Rachel's wide-ranging music choices include Handel, Steve Reich and Joni Mitchell. Jess has music from Tchaikovsky, the mysterious Italian baroque composer Bernardo Storace, and American saxophonist Eddie Barbash.
