Glasgow Cathedral Festival, Cumnock Tryst & 蜜芽传媒 Proms

Jamie celebrates the best in classical musical from Scotland and beyond, including a performance by the 蜜芽传媒 SSO and a look at the Cumnock Tryst & Glasgow Cathedral Festival.

Jamie MacDougall hears from composer Taylor Scott Davis ahead of his appearance at this year's Cumnock Tryst festival, where his piece Magnificat will be getting its Scottish premiere. And Andrew Forbes, artistic director of the Glasgow Cathedral Festival, shares some special music and gives us a preview of this year's programme. There's also a performance of Rachmaninov鈥檚 2nd Symphony, performed by the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra and recorded at the Royal Albert Hall as part of this year's 蜜芽传媒 Proms.
