Soweto’s guest this week for 4/4 is Latin Soul titan Joe Bataan. Born and raised in Spanish Harlem, Bataan became a leading pioneer in combining Latin music with Rhythm and Blues, and is recognised world-wide as the King of Latin Soul. We caught up with Joe backstage at We Out Here festival this summer, ahead of his mainstage performance.
Starting off his week, Joe choose an album that he treasures from one of jazz’s leading vocalists.
