After winning Olympic silver in Paris 2024, Matthew Hudson-Smith starts his campaign for a first world title as he lines up in the heats of the men’s 400 metres. Great Britain’s world indoor champion Amber Anning is in action in qualifying for the women’s 400m, with defending 400m hurdle world champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone the one to beat.
