The popstar Lulu has opened up for the first time about being an alcoholic. Ahead of the release of her new memoir, 鈥業f You Only Knew鈥�, Lulu reveals that she鈥檚 been sober for almost 12 years. So today we鈥檙e asking: has drinking been an issue in your family鈥檚 life 鈥� and how did you deal with it?

It鈥檚 Freshers Week 鈥� but do you think our young people have enough support when they start at university? Cardiff University has admitted it 鈥渃ould have done better鈥� after student Mared Foulkes took her own life in 2020. Mared had received results from Cardiff University, which indicated that she would not be able to continue into her third year, after she鈥檇 failed one assessment. This was despite the fact that she had re-sat her exam and passed.
