American dance music DJ and record producer Kevin Saunderson is the Rewind Selector, choosing the tracks that take him back to the dancefloors of his youth. Kevin is famous for being a member of the Belleville Three, alongside fellow DJ's Juan Atkins and Derrick May. They are often credited in helping define the sound of Detroit techno, the earliest style of the genre. In the UK, Kevin is best known for his work as 'Inner City' with vocalist Paris Grey. Their smash hit single "Big Fun" took the world's dancefloors by storm in 1988, only to be outsold by Inner City's follow-up single, "Good Life." A debut album, Paradise, soon followed. Over the years, and after three albums, Inner City had nine top 40 hits in the UK and two top 20 albums, with combined sales of more than six million records. These days Kevin makes music with his son Dantiez and continues to tour the globe with his headlining sets.
