ѿý SSO perform Stravinsky’s Petrushka & SCO play Veni Veni Emmanuel

Jamie has concert highlights from the ѿý SSO recorded at this year's Edinburgh Festival, plus a classic recording by the SCO performing Sir James MacMillan's Veni Veni Emmanuel.

Jamie MacDougall presents concert highlights from the ѿý Scottish Symphony Orchestra, recorded at this year’s Edinburgh International Festival, performing music by Leonard Bernstein and Stravinsky. Plus we hear Veni Veni Emmanuel by Sir James MacMillian, a concerto for percussion and orchestra performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, a piece they will perform this week at Perth Concert Hall as part of an evening of music called From Darkness to Light, which launches their new season.
