What is a good life?

From Aristotle through Candide, from the 1970s British TV sitcom The Good Life to rewilding and consumerism now. Matthew Sweet and guests explore what it means to live a good life.

What does living a good life involve? Michael Rosen's new book is called Good Days and offers suggestions. Sophie Scott-Brown lectures on philosophy and the Rev'd Fergus Butler-Gallie has spent time working in the Czech republic and South Africa and ministering in parishes in Liverpool and London. They are some of the guests joining Matthew Sweet for a discussion about what it means to be good.
