The early 2,000's, Welsh ragga-metal band Skindred toured internationally, at their peak in one-year, playing 158 shows, helping them win a whole new wave of fans in America.

Denym, the band formed in the 70's, left a legacy of self-written, and self-released records. Among them, some never-before-heard gems. But with no label to protect their work, they were vulnerable. The whole of Denym’s track, "Beauty", was being re-used as a backing track by an American rapper — without Denym’s permission.

MC Skunkadelic joined forces with a collective of musicians in Cardiff to form Afro-Cluster, West African funk - fused with hip hop.

In 2009 Nesdi Jones left home Criccieth, moved to Delhi and threw herself into the Indian music scene, Nesdi covered a rap song by the famous Indian rapper & producer Yo Yo Honey Singh. It went viral on YouTube and led to Nesdi collaborating on a Punjabi fusion song "London", it became a massive hit in India and the South Asian communities the world-over.

When the lush vocals of a then unknown band, Baby Queens first echoed across Radio 1 in 2013, they stopped listeners in their tracks. How the all-female group, with help from Cian Ciarán of the legendary Super Fury Animals, created their unique sound.
