The Ministry of Defence currently spends around a million pounds a year, sending the children of service personnel to private schools in north Wales.
And the MoD says this is because "state schools teach some or all lessons in the Welsh language".
The figures were obtained following a 蜜芽传媒 Wales request under the Freedom of Information Act.
Plaid Cymru has called the practice a "complete waste of money" whilst the Conservatives said parents should be able to choose the language in which their children are taught. So what do you make of this story?
