In Birmingham, a family’s much-loved motorhome is stolen off their driveway. There’s dramatic CCTV footage of the theft – but incidents like this are increasingly common.
Meanwhile, tracker Richard is searching for a vehicle worth £40,000 stolen off a builders’ yard in south west London. But it’s a race against time. There’s a high demand for construction vehicles like this in countries like Ukraine – and thieves are cashing in. Richard suspects it could be about to be shipped overseas.
In the UK’s biggest cities, organised gangs of thieves are targeting electric bikes worth thousands of pounds. Bike recovery specialist Bilal is hunting down a stolen e-bike which is fitted with a tracker and has a child’s seat on the back. As a father himself, Bilal’s determined to get the bike back. The tracker’s GPS signal is being affected by the number of tall buildings in the area, so he deploys a drone to help with the search.
