Take a seat as Natasha Raskin Sharp learns about a renowned British furniture designer. Ernest Race was a pioneer in postwar furniture design, using new manufacturing processes and crafting iconic designs from recycled materials.
Today’s teams aren’t lounging around, however, as they’re racing around the antiques fair in Ardingly, West Sussex, with their experts Kate Bliss and Danny Sebastian. Tim Weeks wields his gavel on the rostrum, but the question is – will it be the reds or the blues who are sitting pretty when their buys go under the hammer?
