Having progressed from the qualifying solo singing competitions earlier in the day, the leading men and women perform in front of the adjudicators at the Nevis Centre to compete for the Traditional Gold Medals.

Cathy is joined in the studio by two guests with a knowledge of Gaelic song to provide analysis of the competitors’ performances as they attempt to emulate 2024 winners Claire Frances MacNeil and Ruairidh Morrison. Also featured on the show are the successful rural choirs from competitions held earlier in the day.
