Talking Movies looks back at the BFI London Film Festival and the films energising audiences. We sit down with BFI Festival director Kristy Matheson to talk about the films on offer and how London can compete against other international movie festivals.
Talking Movies will be on the red carpet to talk to the biggest actors and directors attending the festival and offer a review on the film opening up the LFF - Daniel Craig's Wake Up Dead Man.
We look at some of the films being shown by new and emerging British directors including Anemone - the return to acting of screen legend Daniel Day-Lewis.
And Talking Movies speaks to Oscar-nominated director Edward Berger about his new film, Ballad of a Small Player, and looks at the rise in the number of African films showing at this year's festival.
