Verity Sharp shares a wide-ranging and free-flowing mix of music curated by idiosyncratic Japanese artist and composer, Nobukazu Takemura.

Verity Sharp shares a wide-ranging and free-flowing mix of music curated by Japanese artist and composer, Nobukazu Takemura. Breaking through in the '90s as part of Kyoto's nu-jazz collective Spiritual Vibes, Takemura's solo output and resume of collaborations over the past three decades reflects his commitment to the sonically unpredictable and unusual, whether that's expressed through chamber music, glitch or electronica. Child's View - one of his ongoing aliases - encapsulates a key artistic ambition: to see and hear and meet the world with a playful and open-minded perspective, an approach evident in his latest album of idiosyncratic miniatures entitled 'knot of meanings'.
