Sophie Raworth and Petroc Trelawny present live coverage from London as His Majesty the King leads the Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph.
The King will be joined on Whitehall by senior members of the royal family and leading UK politicians, alongside the armed forces as well as representatives of the Commonwealth and faith communities, for the two-minute silence at 11 o’clock and the National Service of Remembrance.
This is followed by the wreath laying as the nation remembers all those who have died serving their country and the historic march past of nearly 10,000 veterans. Interviews with those involved will reflect on the personal importance of remembrance and share their remarkable stories of courage and sacrifice.
