Whilst preparations are being made for Sadie and Malcolm’s birthday, Malcolm gets to know Tommy. Gemma secures her first job interview, forcing her to make a difficult decision.
Gemma prepares a joint birthday party for Sadie and Malcolm, and Malcolm searches for the perfect present for Sadie. Malcolm and Tommy get to know each other whilst sorting out Jackie’s belongings. After months of trying, Gemma finally finds herself in a job interview, only to be thrown by the whole situation. Gemma and Malcolm both have difficult decisions to make.
