6 Music鈥檚 Artists of the Year is a list of artists that have dominated 2025.
We are celebrating their successes and key moments from the year, as well as hearing from their fans and peers about why they are deserving of being on this list.

In alphabetical order, the artists are: Blood Orange, CMAT, Deftones, Ethel Cain, FKA twigs, Geese, Jacob Alon, jasmine.4.t, Kae Tempest, Maruja, Pulp and Turnstile.

In this programme, we take a look at five artists and hear some of their defining music, with special words from the likes of Billy Bragg, Lucy Dacus, Fraser T. Smith, Jordan Rakei, and Lambrini Girls about what makes these artists so special.
