Few sailing events offer the Rolex Middle Sea's guarantee of a beautiful racecourse and compelling offshore competition, a combination that has attracted sailors worldwide since the inaugural event in 1968. The 46th edition will start and finish in Malta's historic capital, Valetta, with over 600 nautical miles of challenging sailing in between. The course, anticlockwise around Sicily, taking in the Italian islands of Sicily, Stromboli, Pantelleria and Lampedusa, is both a magical experience and a supreme test of skill, endurance and tactical knowledge for any professional and amateur sailor.
