David Attenborough - 11/07/2009
Sir David Attenborough offers his personal insight into why some animals sing, and draws on experiences from the UK, Africa and Asia.
Why do animals sing? Not calling, screeching, roaring, piping but putting harmonious sequences of calls together to make melodies and repeated phrases. This is the sound of the wild which is a joy to listen to.

Sir David comes to the conclusion that the reason some animals sing is not very different to the reasons we sing.
