Janet Sumner meets Eric Pritchard in the Forest of Dean, to see fallow deer. They'll have to move quietly and stop if they see some - unlike fallow deer in deer parks, wild ones are very shy. They find a group of several deer including a stag in velvet and one with his first, tiny antlers called a pricket. Fallow deer are the most widespread deer in England and Wales, but they're still very wary of humans.
