On the up
Sanjida O'Connell watches marsh harriers from a hide at Minsmere reserve. These are large birds with a four foot wingspan. They quarter over the reed beds looking for small mammals. The only pair that was left in Britain 35 years ago was here at Minsmere. Now they have recovered their numbers from that single pair.
